Safety and Training
- OMCI continually strives to develop & maintain industry’s best practices for safety. Our Safety Policy clearly outlines the emphasis on safety.
- Our maintenance policy states it is necessary to carry out a tool box meeting at the start of each new operation.
- During these meetings, questions are asked as to the nature of the tasks at hand, as well as the operations that are ongoing in the vicinity. A Risk Analysis is carried out, and specific Job Hazard Analyses are contended with.
- Continuous upgrading of Human Resources through appraisals, training, mentoring and process strengthening.
- Providing Training, Conducting Seminars and Incorporating external training resources as required so as to achieve industry benchmarks for best practices of our various teams.
- Incorporating the most practical and effective systems for oversight and motivating of personnel to work safely and diligently.
- We understand that success depends upon trained and motivated personnel and we do not compromise on safety.
